This year was the first time I watched the world cup in Vancouver. Every other time I’ve watched it in Iran. I have to say it was way more fun in Iran. Maybe it is cause I hated who won this year (yeah sure Spain deserved it) or maybe its because Iranians take soccer more seriously than Canadians. I’ll never forget watching soccer matches in Iran, you would gather with all your friends and just go crazy, the streets would be packed and everyone would be honking. Specially when Iran actually made it somewhere.

I remember this one soccer game (I was really young, so correct me if I’m wrong) when Iran beat the USA. My gosh! The streets were gone insane, the people were so happy, and it was the best thing I’ve ever seen. Just magical!
